We are a group of young veteran military officers and expert engineers with government background possessing academic degrees ranging from engineering to humanities who started a venture in security sector that incorporates the fields of defense security, food security, energy security and water security.

We believe that in the absence of the security of these basic human needs, every single component enveloping our lives is prone to get dragged into chaos. So, we have done it with defense sector which we think is the major critical domain to secure the rest.

EPENEK uses its experience in security together with functional experts to provide reliable solutions that comply with international standards.

We do it best, we do it just from inside - we do it through our indigenous eye with a global outlook.

Turkey and its partner countries have an immense industrial and production capability and capacity heaped together in various corners, along with willing, educated and skillful human capital, which altogether leading the idea to piecing together the assets to meet the challenges of humanity facing.

EPENEK has undertaken a mission to use this massive capacity as a lever in overcoming these challenges of individual/institutional security concerns along with other aspects of security such as food, water, energy and information.

EPENEK refers to a Butterfly which was used in old Turkish language in Anatolia, yet not commonly used in modern day now. The question of harmonizing Butterfly-a delicate and brittle creature as opposed to Defense Sector's nature of steel hinting strength and stamina is intriguing. From this contrast emerges our mission in that our focus is to put together flimsy yet beautiful butterflies in such a way to generate steel-hard invincible systems with a butterfly effect.
